Moto Training NI First Aid Course
Moto Training N.I. who provide the Biker NI Safety Card to their students are hosting a First Bike On Scene (FBOS) First Aid Course in the Antrim/Ballymena area on the 14th April 2019 and it is the only planned course in Northern Ireland this year.. The day will include dealing with crash site safety, safe removal of casualty's helmet, CPR, operation of a defibrillator etc. These courses are very enjoyable and are run by paramedic bikers for bikers. Safety Card Re-launched
Great news from the BMF – British Motorcyclists Federation in Northern Ireland – Biker safety cards re-launched. A safety initiative for motorcyclists has been re-launched in Northern Ireland during the NI Motorcycle Festival at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn. Called Biker NI Safety Cards, the free cards are intended to help protect motorcyclists in the event of a road traffic collision. Finland Medical Card
The Finnish rider organisation - MP 69 - have introduced their version of the CRASH Card to motorcyclists in their country, the "Medical Card" serves exactly the same function in Finland for transmitting personal information after an accident. The rider safety initiative “Crash Card” has been launch in the Australian state of New South Wales – NSW – to deliver the CRASH Card scheme, free to motorcycle riders across New South Wales.
